Sonicware is a Japanese company that makes compact, characterful grooveboxes and synths. Most of them run on batteries and have a speaker built in, so you can start a track on the sofa or the train and plug into the studio later.

Their machines tend to pick one idea and go deep with it, from FM synthesis to lo-fi sampling and granular textures.

We carry the deconstruct MINIMAL, a groovebox for hypnotic minimal techno and house that rebuilds the timing drift of the classic drum machines.
