Michigan Synth Works is a small workshop in Haslett, Michigan, with a specific talent: taking instruments that were previously DIY-only, discontinued or absurdly rare, and building them properly so you can just order one.

Their range covers machine-assembled reworks of cult open-source designs, exact replicas of vintage drum synths down to the original board layouts, and monosynths built on the same oscillator and filter chips that gave the classic Roland machines their voice. All of it hand-built to order with current-production components, so there is no hunting for forty-year-old parts and no soldering iron required.
